Citizenship & Social Development

公民與社會發展科

Core SubjectF.4 – F.6

Overview

The CSD syllabus is dedicated to nurturing students into responsible citizens with a sense of belonging to Hong Kong, a deep affection for our country, and a broad global perspective. We guide students to understand their roles and responsibilities in society, fostering the values necessary to contribute positively to the development of Hong Kong, China, and the world.

To bring the world closer to the classroom, we integrate Virtual Reality (VR) technology. This allows students to "travel" across the provinces of China and explore global landmarks, providing a vivid, 360-degree visualization of cultural and historical developments. This tech-driven approach makes learning abstract concepts intuitive and engaging.

Staying informed is a core pillar of our curriculum. Students regularly engage in news-related activities, mock forums, and debates, encouraging them to stay alert to local and international trends. By analyzing current affairs, students sharpen their ability to distinguish facts from opinions, ensuring they remain informed and objective observers of the modern world.
