Overview

Putonghua is offered as a subject for Secondary 1 to Secondary 3 students in our school. The Putonghua subject aims to systematically enhance students' language abilities, cultural awareness, and holistic development. The core focus is on training students to master Chinese Pinyin and develop communicative skills such as listening, speaking, and reading aloud, enabling them to communicate accurately and fluently in Putonghua. At the same time, the curriculum emphasizes the integration of elements of Chinese culture, deepening students' understanding of the nation's history and culture, and fostering their national identity and positive values.
