Broad Aims

14 Thematic Units
Organised across S1–3, each unit lets students investigate and examine a specific theme in science.
Science, Society & Technology
Units cover the major aspects of science as well as the social and technological implications of scientific knowledge.
Cross-disciplinary & STEAM
Students develop the ability to integrate science with other disciplines, fostering creative problem solving and innovation.
Environment & Sustainability
Students are aware of the impact of human activities on the environment and act sensibly for its sustainable development.
Curriculum Structure and Organisation
The teaching syllabus is organised into 14 units that are introduced across Secondary 1 to 3. It is designed to cover the major aspects of science, as well as the social and technological implications of science. Each unit allows students to investigate and examine a specific theme in science.
