★ Visual Arts (DSE) is a Senior Secondary elective offered in F.4–6, leading to the HKDSE examination.

Subject Overview

At the senior level, students deepen their understanding of visual arts through both practical creation and critical appreciation. The curriculum covers drawing, painting, design, and mixed media exploration alongside art history and visual culture. Students develop personal themes, conduct research, and present ideas through a structured creative process. The emphasis on independent thinking, problem-solving, and portfolio development prepares students for further studies or careers in creative fields.
