There have been so many difficult moments yet important and remarkable throughout my school life in Delia Memorial School (Hip Wo No.2 College). I, myself, did not know how to speak English and Cantonese at all when I was admitted in this school in 2010 and thus, I struggled to connect with the school curriculum and the environment around. However, with the help of school teachers through mentorship, I managed to improve in different aspects, especially in academic and sports areas. Genuinely speaking, I am truly touched by how much my secondary school principal and teachers are concerned about us - they always stand by us and are eager to offer help anytime. This school is enriched not only with love and care, but also with extra-curricular activities, mentorship programs, scholarships and many more. No doubt, I faced challenges and obstacles from time to time but the school has given me chances to overcome my difficulties and sharpen my life skills for the future.

Delia Memorial School (Hip Wo No.2 College) has been a major part of my life. As a student, the school provided me every opportunity to express myself in every field. Especially, in developing my passion for sports. I was captain of the school’s cricket team and was fortunate enough to guide the team to achieve success in a quite short time. HW2 provided me with opportunities to play for several school teams. This leads me to further develop my interest in sports and ultimately studying bachelor's degree In sports. On the other hand, my teachers have played a vital role in teaching the importance of being a constructive member of society. I was taught moral values which helped me become a better person. I feel extremely blessed to have taught from the finest teachers. Now, working in the school as a PE teacher, I believe in passing all the knowledge I learned to the new generation and help them find their paths.

The Bachelor of Arts

Reflecting on my time at HW2, I see a mosaic of memories filled with learning, growth, and guidance that have shaped the person I am today. The foundation laid by our school was instrumental in my acceptance to the University of Hong Kong, and I am forever grateful for the experiences I had and the lessons I learned. Academically, HW2 was a place of rigorous learning, where teachers were not just instructors but mentors who believed in my potential. They were always available to clarify doubts, challenge my understanding, and push me to excel. Their dedication went beyond the textbooks; they invested time in helping me build a strong foundation of knowledge that would be vital for university studies. Beyond academics, the teachers at HW2 were a source of constant support and care. They took the time to understand my aspirations and fears, offering advice and encouragement every step of the way.
