Life Planning

A Journey of Discovery and Growth

Life planning is a continuous, lifelong journey toward personal fulfillment that evolves at every stage of life. During the schooling years, life planning education serves as a cornerstone of whole-person development. It is far more than just "career guidance" or a reactive advisory service for choosing subjects; rather, it is a proactive process that empowers students with self-understanding and the ability to set meaningful goals.

Our Approach

"At the Education Bureau, I took part in research and analysis, gaining insights into educational programs. I also got to experience first-hand what goes on behind the scenes of running an event. This internship not only broadened my understanding of the public sector but also gave me a clear guide to my future career."

"My five-day summer residential program at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University was nothing short of life-changing. The structure of the program was its greatest strength. We participated in lectures, lab sessions and some hands-on experiments. We learned about how VIA technology helps capture a real-world site and construct a photorealistic virtual reality model. We also visited Arup, a design and engineering company. The visit gave a tangible purpose to the concepts we learned. Overall, the program was not just about learning and exploration. I left not only with a certificate but with a clarified vision for studies and a network of like-minded peers."

"I had the incredible opportunity to join a medical taster program that was both fun and enlightening. Stepping into the shoes of a “little surgeon” was an unforgettable experience! The program wasn't just about hands-on activities. It also encouraged teamwork. We analyzed real medical cases together, discussing symptoms and potential diagnoses, which sharpened our critical thinking skills. Learning the basics of surgical stitches and understanding human anatomy were highlights that deepened my appreciation for the medical field."
